My name is Kelley Myers, formerly Kelley Neal...I'm a mother who also works outside of the home...in my paid job I manage websites for a large software development company in the Pacific Northwest.

In my other job I navigate the daily joys of parenting: whether or not I serve 'yucky' food for dinner, held accountable for natural disasters (like ice cream precariously balanced on a cone that falls off and it's somehow my fault) and the household budget, and expected to show up every minute of every day ready to contribute, console, negotiate, drive, discuss, scoop poop, sling hash, sing songs, make art, play tag, ride bikes, and read books.

In my paid job I know how I'm doing and can see how to improve if I make a mistake.

In my home job I sort of know how I'm doing, but I won't know the real impact of my choices and mistakes for many, many years.
